10:00 o'clock | Festivalzelt auf dem DomplatzYEAH! Conference „Jugend. Zukunft. Europa.“
Invitation to a thinking game
The YEAH! Conference invites everyone to join an interdisciplinary, intercultural and multi-generational thought process on the European idea and its perspectives for the future. Young citizens of Osnabrück are encouraged to meet with YEAH! nominees in four different resonance chambers to think and discuss in groups. The topic sheet includes the “European experiment”, the demands for mobility, the notion of “home”, immigration and migration, as well as possibilities of communication and language.
With the YEAH! Conference, the artist collective lunatiks produktion
continues its performance series LEGOtopia. The lego brick stands for arbitrary and unlimited combinability and the freedom of fantasy with which children can build their dream worlds. Thus, the lego brick is the ideal medium for a utopia – albeit a rectangular and geometrical one. At the conference, the potential of the lego brick to form societies and utopias will become the basis for diverse performative experimental set-ups by YEAH nominees and young Osnabrück citizens. An invitation to a visionary game, the results of which will be exhibited for the public.
Supported by the Stiftung Niedersachsen.
