The YEAH! award is given to productions and projects in two categories and is endowed with a total of 40,000 euro:

Category "Performance"
Modern stage- and concert formats from all over Europe that attract their audiences to "classical music" through creative performances
The category "Performance" is for professional productions that are aimed at children, teenagers and multigenerational target groups. Concerts and musical theatre projects of all kinds of formats may apply for this category.

Category "Process"
Participative mediation events and workshops for children and teens, or for all ages.

The category "Process" is for projects that focus on encountering and creating music - independently of presentation or performance.

Who can apply?
YEAH! is aimed at professional organizers, artists, cultural operators as well as cultural institutions of European music that address new audiences with their productions and projects. The productions and projects need to have taken place between February 1st 2013 and June 30th 2014.

Entry deadline was June 30th 2014.

An independent jury of professionals and experts on European culture will select nominees and prize winners from the production and project entries in the beginning of 2015.
